Architectural Design 2

The second in a sequence of courses that prepare individuals for careers in the Architecture, Engineering, and Construction (AEC) industry. This course includes instruction in 3D Computer-Aided Design (CAD) software to design and model a small residential home with an emphasis on residential methods and materials of construction, codes, and Building Information Modeling (BIM).

The student performance evaluation is a required component of the skill certification process. Each student must be evaluated on the required performance objectives. Performance objectives my be completed and evaluated any time during the course.

Information

Students who achieve 80% (moderately to highly skilled) on all performance objectives and 80% on the written test will be issued a CTE skill certificate.
