Welding, Advanced Level

Students will learn more advanced skills in the welding processes that will prepare them to apply technical knowledge and skill in the workplace and in project construction. Students will learn and practice knowledge, attitude, skills, and habits required to perform tasks autonomously and with minimum supervision, including the selection and use of appropriate techniques and equipment.

The student performance evaluation is a required component of the skill certification process. Each student must be evaluated on the required performance objectives. Performance objectives my be completed and evaluated any time during the course.

Students who achieve 80% (moderately to highly skilled) on all performance objectives and 80% on the written test will be issued a CTE skill certificate.
