Word Processing

This course reviews and builds upon skills acquired in Word Processing Basics. As students create a variety of documents, increased efficiency, productivity, quality, and creativity will be evident through their use of basic and advanced software features. Instruction on proper keyboarding technique and recommended styles for business documents will coincide with their software training.

The student performance evaluation is a required component of the skill certification process. Each student must be evaluated on the required performance objectives. Performance objectives my be completed and evaluated any time during the course.

Information

Students who achieve 80% (moderately to highly skilled) on all performance objectives and 80% on the written test will be issued a CTE skill certificate.
